PM-Labs 2009

Last weekends on 25th of July I had an opportunity to visit PM-Labs 2009 conference.
It was organized by Luxoft training center headed by Vyacheslav Pankratov.
Such kind of conference is a great chance for Team-leads and PMs to meet and to communicate to talented professionals in IT management.
I was lucky to visit presentations of Maxim Dorofeev, Alex Orlov (the founder of happy-pm.com), Sergio Arhipenko (the Guru in IT-managment), Dmitriy Bezugly and others

The atmosphere made communication easy to do, so I met a few old friends, such as Alex Sharkov (the head product manager in the rabota.ua), Kirill Klimov and made a lot of new ones: Oleksandr Pechenizkiy, Nikolay Chekunov (Testing Group Manager in the Kasperky Lab), Tatiana Mirkevich
As a result of the conference I noted down some topics need to investigate deeply:

• (Balanced Score Card) + (Business Process Management)
• DICS
• Statistics in risk management
• PMI

My recommendations for next conference:

• It would be nice to have more space
• Continue to use flip-chart sessions
• Be careful with presenters, I was confused with some
